🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Selside is a small village in rural Cumbria, England, about 6 miles (9.7 km) north of Kendal, close to the A6 road. It is now in the civil parish of Selside and Fawcett Forest, though it was formerly in the parish of Kendal. The population includes Whitwell.

Selside has a population of over 296 people. Selside also forms part of the wider South Lakeland District which has a population of over 102,301 people. It is also a part of the larger Cumbria County.
