🏴 Tregaron is an ancient market town in Ceredigion, Wales, astride the River Brenig, a tributary of the River Teifi. Tregaron is 11 miles (18 km) north-east of Lampeter. 67% of the population can speak Welsh. Tregaron is a community covering 86 square kilometres. Two-thirds of the population were born in Wales.
Tregaron has a population of over 1,213 people. Tregaron also forms part of the wider Ceredigion District which has a population of over 75,900 people. Tregaron is situated near Aberystwyth.
