Tianguá, Ceará, Northeast Region, Brazil

🇧🇷 Tianguá is a municipality in the state of Ceará in the Northeast region of Brazil. The municipality contains part of the 1,592,550 hectares Serra da Ibiapaba Environmental Protection Area, created in 1996. The municipality of Tianguá is divided into three distinct areas: cuesta, carrasco and sertão.

Tianguá has a population of over 76,540 people. Tianguá also forms one of the centres of the wider Ceará state which has a population of over 8,779,000 people.
