🇯🇵 Ishikari (石狩市) is a city located in Ishikari Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan. On October 1, 2005, the village of Atsuta, from Atsuta District, and the village of Hamamasu, from Hamamasu District, merged into Ishikari.
Ishikari has a population of over 58,755 people. Ishikari also forms the centre of the wider Ishikari Subprefecture which has a population of over 2,334,241 people.
