Inchicore, County Dublin, The Province of Leinster, Ireland


🇮🇪 Inchicore (Inse Chór) is a suburb of Dublin, Ireland. Located approximately 5 km (3.1 mi) west of the city centre, Inchicore was originally a small village separate from Dublin. The village developed around Richmond Barracks (built 1810) and Inchicore railway works (built 1846), before being incorporated into the expanding city bounds. Inchicore is a largely residential area and is home to the association football club St Patrick's Athletic FC.

Inchicore has a population of over 4,610 people. Inchicore also forms part of the wider Dublin County which has a population of over 1,450,701 people. It is also a part of the larger Greater Dublin area.
