Phalsbourg, Moselle Département, Grand Est, France


🇫🇷 Phalsbourg is a commune in the Moselle department in Grand Est in north-eastern France.

It lies high on the west slopes of the Vosges, 25 miles (40 km) north-west of Strasbourg by rail. In 1911, it contained an Evangelical and a Roman Catholic church, a synagogue and a teachers' seminary. Its industries then included the manufacture of gloves, straw hats and liqueurs, and quarrying.

Phalsbourg has a population of over 4,729 people. Phalsbourg also forms part of the wider Sarrebourg-Château-Salins Arrondissement which has a population of over 92,282 people. Phalsbourg is situated 21 km north-east of Sarrebourg.
