Kulob, Khatlon Region, Tajikistan


🇹🇯 Kulob (Кӯлоб,), formerly also Kulyab, is a city in Khatlon Region, southern Tajikistan. Located 203 km (126 mi) south-east of the capital Dushanbe on the river Yakhsu (a right tributary of Panj), it is one of the largest cities in the country. The city is served by Kulob Airport.

Kulob has a population of over 106,300 people. Kulob also forms part of the wider Khatlon Region which has a population of over 3,348,300 people.
