🇸🇪 Vara is a locality and the seat of Vara Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden. Notable landmarks include the concert hall, the artwork on the train station called Blue Orange, Bengtssonska granary, and a folk high school. The present municipality consists of 25 original local government entities (as of 1863). Between 1974 and 1982 the territory of present Essunga Municipality was also included.
