Geography | Monuments | Breton language

🇫🇷 Plouider is a commune in the Finistère department of Brittany in north-western France.

Geography Plouider is located about 5 km south of lagrève or Goulven Bay, located on the edge of the English Channel, and 6 km north-northeast of the city of Lesneven. Its communal finish is limited to the south by Quillimadec, a small coastal river that flows into the English Channel between Kerlouan and Guissény. Another very small coastal river, in fact a stream, the Flèche, crosses the municipality, passing in particular through the large hamlet of Pont-du-Châtel. Altitudes vary between 11 meters to the west, where Quillimadec leaves the communal territory 67 meters near Coat Menac'h. The village of Plouider is very off-centered to the north within the communal finish, the territory of the neighboring municipality of Goulven extending to the northern limit of the village of Plouider. Runéven and the Mouster to the east, Coat Menac'h and Pen ar Creach to the south, Dourmap, Kersava and Kéréolé to the west are the other main hamlets of the municipality.
