🇷🇴 Chiuza (Középfalva) is a commune in Bistrița-Năsăud County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of four villages: Chiuza, Mireș (Diófás), Piatra (Kőfarka) and Săsarm (Szészárma).
According to statistics from 1760–1762, Piatra village had 58 families, three priests and a church.
Chiuza has a population of over 1,866 people. Chiuza also forms part of the wider Bistrița-Năsăud County which has a population of over 277,861 people. It is also a part of the larger Transylvania region. Chiuza is situated near Bistrița.
