🇧🇷 Araioses is the easternmost city in the Brazilian state of Maranhão. It lies near the Parnaíba River's delta, and its territory also include the Canárias, Caju, Poldros, apart from several smaller islands.

The municipality of Araioses comprises an area of 1,782.5 square km (688.2 sq mi). Including the mainland and island (Canary Island, Ilha do Caju, etc.).
