Yono, Saitama Prefecture, Kantō Region, Japan

🇯🇵 Yono (与野市, Yono-shi) was a city located in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. In 2001, Yono was merged with the cities of Urawa and Ōmiya to create the city of Saitama. The former area of Yono City became known as Chūō-ku, along with small parts of former Urawa and Ōmiya Cities.

Yono has a population of over 102,364 people. Yono also forms part of the wider Saitama metropolitan area which has a population of over 1,324,854 people.
