Vani, Imereti Region, Georgia


🇬🇪 Vani is a town in Imereti region of a western Georgia, at the Sulori river (a tributary of the Rioni river), 41 km south-west from the regional capital Kutaisi. The town is an administrative centre of the Municipality of Vani comprising also 40 neighbouring villages (total area – 557 km²).

Vani has a population of over 24,512 people. Vani also forms part of the wider Imereti District which has a population of over 486,986 people. Vani is situated 41 km south-west of Kutaisi.
