🇧🇫 Saponé is a town in the Saponé Department of Bazèga Province in central Burkina Faso. The town is the capital of Saponé Department and is located approximately 40 km south of Ouagadougou.

Saponé has a population of over 21,148 people. Saponé also forms the centre of the wider Saponé Department which has a population of over 50,541 people. It is also a part of the larger Bazèga area. Saponé is situated 40 km south of Ouagadougou.
