St. Joseph, colloquially known as St. Joe, is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. It was incorporated as a village in 1834 and as a city in 1891. It lies on the shore of Lake Michigan, at the mouth of the St. Joseph River. It is the county seat of Berrien County. It is home of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers.
Saint Joseph has a population of over 8,355 people. Saint Joseph also forms part of the wider Niles-Benton Harbor metropolitan area which has a population of over 156,813 people.
