Mladá Boleslav, Central Bohemian Region, Czech Republic


🇨🇿 Mladá Boleslav is a city in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It lies on the left bank of the Jizera River about 50 km (31 mi) north-east of Prague.

Mladá Boleslav is the second most populated city in the region and a major centre of the Czech automotive industry (Škoda Auto) and therefore the Czech industry as a whole. The historic city centre is well preserved and is protected by law as an urban monument zone.

Mladá Boleslav has a population of over 42,000 people. Mladá Boleslav also forms the centre of the wider Mladá Boleslav District which has a population of over 129,136 people.
