🇧🇩 Mathbaria is a town and paurashava(municipality) in Pirojpur District in the Barisal Division of south-western Bangladesh. It is the administrative headquarter of Mathbaria Upazila. Mathbaria Upazila is divided into Mathbaria Municipality and 11 union parishads: Amragasia, Betmor Rajpara, Boromasua, Daudkhali, Dhanishafa, Gulishakhali, Mathbaria, Mirukhali, Shapleza, Tikikata, and Tuskhali. The union parishads are subdivided into 67 mauzas and 93 villages.

Mathba has a population of over 28,851 people. Mathba also forms the centre of the wider Mathbaria Upazila which has a population of over 262,841 people.
