Lhenice, South Bohemian Region, Czech Republic

Lhenice is a market town in Prachatice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,100 inhabitants. Lhenice lies approximately 12 kilometres east of Prachatice, 24 km west of České Budějovice, and 123 km south of Prague. Villages of Dolní Chrášťany, Horní Chrášťany, Hoříkovice, Hrbov, Třebanice, Třešňový Újezdec, Vadkov and Vodice are administrative parts of Lhenice.

Lhenice has a population of over 2,100 people. Lhenice also forms part of the wider Prachatice metropolitan area which has a population of over 10,840 people.
