Leshan, Sichuan Province, China

๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ Leshan, formerly known as Jiading or Jiazhou, is a prefecture-level city located at the confluence of the Dadu and Min rivers in Sichuan Province, China. Leshan is located on the south-western fringe of the Sichuan Basin in southern Sichuan, about 120ย km (75ย mi) from Chengdu. The built-up (or metro) area is comprised of the Shizhong district, as the Wutongqiao and Jinkouhe districts are not yet conurbated.

Leshan has a population of over 662,814 people. Leshan also forms part of the wider Leshan metropolitan area which has a population of over 3,235,759 people.
