🇺🇸 Elmont is an unincorporated hamlet and place (CDP) located in north-western Hempstead in Nassau County, New York, United States, along its border with the borough of Queens in New York City. The hamlet is famous for Belmont Park which hosts the Belmont Stakes, the third leg of the prestigious Triple Crown of thoroughbred racing. Elmont is also home to UBS Arena, home of the NHL's New York Islanders.
