🇷🇺 Dzerzhinsky is a town in Moscow Oblast, Russia, located on the bank of the Moskva River, 5 km south of the city of Lyubertsy. The western part of Dzerzhinsky borders with the territory of the federal city of Moscow.

Economy The town's industry comprises Heat and Power Central #22, a reinforced concrete constructions factory, and military chemical industry. Transportation The Lyubertsy–Dzerzhinsky railway is only used for cargo transportation.

Dzerzhinsky has a population of over 47,163 people. Dzerzhinsky also forms part of the wider Moscow metropolitan area which has a population of over 17,300,000 people. Dzerzhinsky is situated 8 km south of Lyubertsy.
