Arlöv is the seat of Burlöv Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden. It forms part of the contiguous city of Malmö, and is situated 5 km north-east of downtown Malmö. Arlöv is known for its sugar industry, Sockerbolaget AB (owned by the Danish company Danisco). Arlöv Church dates from 1900 and is Neo-Gothic in style; it was built to accommodate the growing congregation.
Arloev has a population of over 11,000 people. Arloev also forms part of the wider Malmö metropolitan area which has a population of over 700,000 people.
